Chapter 12

Blood rained down from the sky with every slash and cut that Scorpio made in the undead. His sword went threw the undead like a knife through soft butter. Scorpio paused and slowly looked up. He felt it still dripping down on him, running between his finger and onto his sword. Blood slowly dripped down from his mask and helmet falling into his armor soaking his fur.

"Never before have I seen a war like this. These monsters and how many lives have been lost." Scorpio said to himself.

Tigress came running up to Scorpio with some fear in her eyes. Scorpio looked to the side to see her running.

"Greetings Master Tigress I presume?" Scorpio asked.

"Umm, yes how do you know?" Tigress answered.

"Your messenger told us who you all were. We know who Grand Master Po is as well and Shadow, Huan and even your new students Zhen, Yong, Colm. You have no worries, my samurai know who to kill. My name is Scorpio and I am Japans greatest warrior" Scorpio replied.

"Oh, um ok well tell your men to regroup with ours. We are to spread apart and out numbered. Regroup by the castle gates. If you have and archers send them up to the walls." Tigress ordered.

Scorpio nodded and bowed as he went to carry on his orders. The undead were shocked at first but now were gaining there strength again. Even with Si-wang dead the shaman and undead stayed loyal to there master and follow out his orders.

"Fall back to the castle gates!! Regroup! Regroup at the castle gates!" Scorpio yelled out to his samurai.

Quickly and swiftly they moved back to the castle. As they separated the plains in between were covered in blood and bodies. The rare spots of grass would be seen through the blood. As the men regrouped Po, Tigress and the Death Dealers met up with Scorpio.

"So it would seem that we have allies over seas hmm?" Po asked as he looked at Scorpio curiously.

"Yes like I said to Master Tigress you have no worries. There numbers are greater but they are no match for the might of the samurai. Are swords are swift and sharp, they have only had a small taste of our swords and there number have been drop greatly." Scorpio replied.

"Yes we thank you for your aid, with out you I'm afraid we might have not been here" Taki added.

"Well I don't know about you guys but they still out number us greatly. Every second we waste they gives them time to regroup." Gerik interrupted.

"Yes! send an scout up to our in city walls and get Colm to join up with your archers on the outer city walls." Tigress ordered.

Scorpio bowed as he gave the orders. His archer went to the walls as one of them went to the inner city. The Samurai came to the gates as he was confronted by Colm.

"Master Colm!" The samurai yelled.

"Yes? Who are you?" Colm replied as he looked over the walls.

"Orders from Master Tigress, She wants you to follow me and regroup at the outer city walls for our second attack on the army! We are the samurai from Japan. We have come to aid you in this fight." the Samurai answered.

Colm looked over to his new found friend Akane who he had met in the medical center. Akane was a female caracal . He helped fix and bandage her leg when she was wounded. They fell in love instantly. Akane and Colm have been together ever since.

"Well it looks like we are going to finish this once and for all." Akane said to Colm.

Colm looked at Akanes leg. The bandaged stained with blood seemed to be all dry.

"Think your leg is ok? You don't have to come with me if you're hurt." Colm said to Akane as he put his arm on her hip.

Akane leaned over and put his arm on her thigh and gave him a flirtatious look.

"I'm ready to go to battle with you any day my love." Akane answered.

With that said Colm ordered the archers to move out and meet up with the rest of the army. Tigress looked up to see Colm with Akane and his archers.

"Colm!" Tigress yelled with joy.

"Ah so Master Colm has arrived. My archers are at your command." Scorpio said as he bowed.

"Yes, Colm this is Scorpio he commands the samurai who have added us. He is leaving you in charge or his archers." Po added.

"We have every one behind the castle walls. We wait until you give the order to change." Kilik continued.

"How do I know when to charge?" Colm asked.

"When they are just about to over run you and break through. We do not want them on the walls. When they start to climb and you are being pushed back give the order and we catch them by surprise and charge out." Gerik added.

"Sound like a plan" Akane continued.

The orders where given out, the soldier and samurai went in to positions. Back at Si-wangs camp the Shaman we gathering and worried.

"What must we do? They toke our lords body" One said

"We fight until our last breath. We have scared the landed forever. Our darkness has been imprinted on this land and noting at erase us from history!" Another yelled.

"But we must have some sort of remaining army left for our lords return." Another added.

"Yes, if we can not regain the outer city with our losing a certain amount one undead I say we split the army between us and hide deep in the corners of China until his return." The eldest Shame suggested.

"Agreed we should choose now who will go were? Who will go to the mountains and who will go to the forest?" Another asked.

"The forest, mountains and desert all have enough to hide his armies. The smallest section will go to Tai Lungs training grounds in the desert and hide there. The majority will hide in the forest and mountains." The eldest continued.

"We must also send his mercenaries out to spy and gather more loyal members." Another chuckled.

"Agreed, we will make temples to him, grow his army and hide underground. With the power of the undead we will be able to build these with a years time. The mercenaries will be pulled from battle to scout out locations and gain our numbers." One continued.

The Shaman closed there meeting and decided that if anything was to go in the final attack they would retreat into the far corners of china. Colm watched over to the horizon were the undead army was regrouping. Akane stood at his side, She gave him a kiss that seemed to last a life time.

"No matter what happens I will be with you to the end." Colm said to his love of his life.

Akane looked up and nodded at Colm. A faint sound of howls and screeching could be heard in the distance. The two looked up to see a vague outline in the distance. It grew closer and closer finally one of the samurai archers made out what it was.
"The undead approach!!!" The fox howled.

With that said Colm looked over at Akane. She pulled out a arrow from her quiver and put it in place attached to the bow ready to draw. As she did this the sounds of thousands of arrows being out into place was being heard. Akane looked and nodded at Colm.

"We wait for your command my love." Akane replied.

Colm smiled and looked back over his shoulder were he saw the mighty Jade Palace warriors looking back at him. Tigress smiled at him as if she was saying to him, we believe in you Colm. With that Colm turned to see the now visible undead army. He pulled out his arrow and put it into place. He pulled back his bowstring with the sound of it stretching followed by what seemed to be an almost endless echo of the same sound.

"Well here goes nothing... FIRE!!!!!!" Colm howled with all his breath.

The sound of arrows hissing in the air was all that could be heard. Time seemed to stand still for a while. PO and the others grew dead silent as well as the army. The undead screamed and howled even louder as they charged the city walls. The undead almost seemed to come to a complete stop for a few seconds. Just as soon as the undead began to pass there dead corpses on the field to continue the charge the archers were quick to hold back the charged massively. There arrows were fired quickly and accurately flying far and wide but no did it better than Colm. Hundreds of arrows were set by Colm as he finished a quiver of 30 with what seemed to be only seconds. None had ever seen skill in the bow like this before. Colm seemed to even surpass the Masters of old. The wolf stayed focused and allowed his hands to work ahead of his mind. Po turned to Tigress with I giant smile.

"Tigress... I have never seen nothing like this ever before. I'm sure Master Ogway and Master Shifu would have trouble even competing with Colms skill." Po said with pure amazement.

"I will say there is no compition when it comes to Colm and his archery now." Tigress said with a proud smile.

"I would love some competition in the field of battle and I think I finally found someone who can compete with me." Gerik said with as smerk.

Gerik looked towards Scorpion with a cocky grin on his face. Scorpion looked back and nodded.

"Well it would be an honor to compete with one of the famous and feared death dealers of china. Back in my home country there is no challenge left for me and I hope that my skills are up to pare with that or our brothers in this great land." Scorpion replied.

The two nodded and the rest waited for Colms signal. The undead had finally made it to the city walls. There bodies were piling up fast as they tried to break down the gate. There numbers were to great even still with the aid of the samurai.

"Colm! We are holding up well but the undead..." Akane said as she came to a stop.

"What Akane! What are they doing?" Colm replied.

Akane told Colm to follow her. She Showed Colm what she had seen. Colm was speachless.

"How can this be??" Colm asked in shock.

"It would seem there numbers are far greater than we had hoped. They have found that they can not break through the main gate and have started to make a ramp with there own bodies." Akane answered.

"We must hold off for as long as we can. Just before they can climb the walls we will give the signal. I have no doute that the undead will still try to climb the wall even if we send out the army. We cannot afford to let them come from behind and destroy the armys support.." Colm replied.

Taki pulled out her blades and gave them one last sharpen before the gates opened. Kilik glanced over and smiled at her.

"And what would you like?" Taki asked if a very flirtatious voice.

"Just to glance at your beauty. Something to keep my mind off of all this darkness." Kilik replied.

"Oh. Well that's not enough. Here see how this dose." Taki continued as she leaned over and gave Kilik a passionate kiss.

Kilik almost fell back but held him self up with his fighting stick. Everyone attention was drawn to an archer who can rushing down the stares from the walls. He came straight to Po and Tigress.

"Master Po, Master Tigress... I give word from Colm. He says that the undead are soon to climbe over the walls!! they have made a ramp from there own dead bodies. He needs a small group of soldiers to help keep them from crossing over the walls." The archer said.

"We cannot take the chance of losing our support from the walls. General! take a group of infantry up to the walls. Wait till Colm gives the command for you to take defense on the wall." Po ordered.

The General noded and followed the archer to Colm. Colm saw them coming up the stares from the gate house. The General went forward to get the orders from Colm. Time went by and the bodies came higher and higher.

"Colm we can not hold them off any longer. You have defended these walls longer than anyone ever expected." Akane roared.

Colm fired one last arrow. Po looked up to see Akane hand Colm an arrow that was light one fire. Colm loaded his bow and aimed up in the air. He released the arrow as it sore up into the sky.

"Thats the signal!!" A Samurai yelled.

Po looked over to his love Tigress. The embraced each other and kissed. Tigress had a smile on her face that Po had not see in some time.

"Let go give Colm some help shall we?" Tigress asked

With that said the gates raised up releasing What seemed to be the Gates of hell for the undead. The united brothers destroyed the undead. They charged out would not stop for anything. The undead were being slaughtered. The Shaman retreated as they had planed. A victorious roar was heard across China and the last remaining  forces had survived and saved the land. However Po's happiness did not lats long.

"Po whats wrong?" Tigress asked with confusion in her eyes.

"Shadow... He will surely be killed if he catches up to Tai Lung and Shen." Po replied.
